Greetings everyone, my name is Blake Blenkhorn and I along with Nadina Gardiner will be conducting interviews in the community of Cumberland House for Canada North Environmental Services (Can North). The topic of the interviews will be about traditional food studies. We will be asking for sample collections at the end of each interview or if anyone would like to donate a small portion of wild meat, berries, or medicinal herbs, it would be greatly appreciated. These interviews are voluntary and will take roughly an hour of your time. The information collected will be confidential with only community interviewers and CanNorth staff overseeing the data. A consent form will have to be signed before the interview. Once the interview is complete, a $50 dollar gift card will be given.
